34th Malaysian Open Softball Championships - Brunei Softballers

taken from ranoadidas
Brunei softballers earned bronze. It may not be the Olympics but Brunei softballers have done a great job in earning bronze. It seemed that the intensive training paid off and the Brunei Softball National Team lost to eventual champions Perak 7-2. The match took place at Trengganu, Malaysia and Brunei finished top of their group after beating Johor 12-2 with Masrudy scoring a homerun. They then beat neighbours Sarawak 11-1 before being beaten by Perak. Brunei had to settle for third place after beating Majlis Sukan Politeknik Malaysia 8-3.
Congratulations to team Brunei for being 3rd at the 34th Malaysian Open Softball Championships. This is definitely a positive sign for softball in Brunei Darussalam.
